How
does a student benefit by taking NSTSE / SLSTSE?
What are the prizes and how are they given out?
Participants of NSTSE / SLSTSE are ranked on the basis of marks obtained. The
students are suitably awarded based on their national ranking. Prizes include
scholarships, cash rewards, medals, Mementos, and so many gifts. The prizes
are awarded at a grand Awards ceremony presided over by eminent personalities
in Hyderabad.
I am interested to
take part in the NSTSE. Tell me how will I come
to know about the details of the exam?
You can get the application form from our Hyderabad office by writing a letter.
You can contact your school principal / In-charge Teacher for competitions.
Your school also can participate in this examination.
Myself and few of
my friends are interested to take part in the
NSTSE/SLSTSE but our school has not yet received
any information regarding the NSTSE/SLSTSE. What
do we do?
Let us know the complete address of your school. We will send detailed information
and registration forms to your School so that your Principal / Science Teacher
can register your names for the exam.

state, Can I participate in the SLSTSE?
No, This SLSTSE is conducted in Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu states only based
on their respective state board syllabi.
Are there any special
books, which the participants should refer to
for the NSTSE/SLSTSE preparation?
There are no special books as such. In general, NCERT books prescribed by the
CBSE are sufficient for the preparation for NSTSE. Additionally, Also there
are various Talent Search Exam/ Olympiad books like Talent Exams Resource Books
in the market for study and reference. These Talent Exams Resource Books related
to Talent exams/ Olympiad are published by Brain Mapping Academy.
For SLSTSE also, students
can refer these books.
My school does not want to register for
the NSTSE/SLSTSE, but I am very eager to write
the exam. Can I do it on my own?
You can apply individually and take the exam in declared test centres.
I have already appeared
for the NSTSE/SLSTSE, while I was in a lower
class? Can I appear again?
Definitely yes. This will give you an opportunity to improve your previous
rankings, and if you are successful in doing so, you will again be eligible
for scholarships and Cash Awards.
When
are the results of NSTSE &SLSTSE declared?
Results of both NSTSE & SLSTSE are declared normally on 1st March every
year.
Do I have to regularly
visit your website for the latest update of Unified
Council activities?
All the important information regarding Talent Exams, Seminars, workshops etc.,
like date, time and venue is available on our website. So it is beneficial
for you to surf our site.
Is the NSTSE/SLSTSE
are conducted in English only?
NSTSE & SLSTSE (T.N.) are conducted in English only. SLSTSE (A.P.) is conducted
in both English and Telulgu also.
Why do students of
the same class with similar total marks have
different National rankings?
When there is same total marks for more than one student, for ranking, priority
will be given to Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General questions in the
order to give the prior rank. |
